Performs support and depot maintenance on still and motion picture cameras.
Must be qualified as Camera Repairman (41E20), Projector Repairman (41F20), or Surveillance Photographic Equipment Repairman (41G20); must know production line procedures used in depot maintenance of photographic equipment; must be able to read, interpret, and explain technical publications, diagrams, and drawings pertaining to photographic and associated equipment; must be able to demonstrate and explain procedures and techniques of photographic equipment repair and maintenance.
Must know fundamentals of operation of all types of still and motion picture cameras used in Army photographic activities under operating conditions of high and low temperatures; must know fundamentals of all types of identification equipment, such as photorecorders, fingerprint cameras, and continuous printers; must know most common causes of malfunction of camera equipment serviced; must be able to read and understand technical publications and illustrations pertaining to photographic equipment; must be able to use ordinary variety of hand and jeweler's tools in repair or replacement of mechanical and optical components of photographic equipment.
