Supervises, performs, or advises on use, interchangeability, and identification of repair parts for aircraft materiel.

Must be able to perform the duties of Aircraft Materiel Supply Specialist (76T20); supervises reception, location, storage preservation, and issuance of repair parts; organizes, plans, and controls warehouse and storage activities; supervises part identification based on size, shape, function, interchangeability, and relationship to other parts and assemblies; conducts inspection of activities to insure compliance with standards of serviceability, reclamation, salvage, and disposal procedures; complies with current regulations and directives pertaining to financial inventory accounting and stock funding; directs repair parts supply personnel in utilization and modification of storage plans and establishment and maintenance of stock control functions; determines current and projected repair parts requirements and space allocation; analyzes aircraft repair parts activities to determine efficiency of operation; conducts aircraft repair parts on-the-job training; must be able to perform the duties of any MOSC in CMF 76 at the 4 skill level; serves as principal NCO of supply and service operations; supervises operation of organizations performing supply and related service functions such as laundry, bath, graves registration, decontamination, transportation, property disposal, commissary operations, and airdrop; supervises in development and preparation of operations information, plans maps, sketches, overlays and related data to employ supply and service organizations; analyzes reports on supply and services support operations; assists in appraisal of supply operations and training; assists in development of prescribed load lists, authorized stockage lists, repair parts supply procedures and other administrative and managerial supply procedures; supervises management of materiel support functions in stock control and accounting, procurement, inventory control, and item financial management; supervises open and covered storage, receiving, classification, issue, materials handling, supply locator systems, facility safety; and supply security operations; contributes to staff development and operation of supply support data systems, equipment review, salvage and repair parts supply procedures, and maintenance support systems; assists in development of troop basis; assists in selection of supply and service units for support of forces, areas, and special operations; supervises preparation of orders, operating instructions, reports, and related technical materials; advises on supply and service matters; performs liaison between staff and supported personnel to improve effectiveness of support activities; serves as First Sergeant of a company; interprets and supervises execution of company policy and SOP; assists in planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities that support the company mission; advises company commander on all matters concerning enlisted personnel, to include assignments, reassignment, transfers, promotions, granting of passes and leave, punishments, welfare, privileges, and awards; directs and coordinates company administration; forms unit for drill, ceremonies, and other military formations; receives report of personnel present and absent, and reports number of unauthorized absences; holds NCO call to disseminate instructions and information to subordinate enlisted supervisors; coordinates operation of company food service and supply activities; assists company commander in accomplishing unit training; assists in inspection of organizational activities as prescribed by commander, observes discrepancies, and initiates appropriate corrective action.

Must be able to perform the duties of Stock Control and Accounting Specialist (76P20); receives, locates, stores, preserves and issues aircraft repair parts; inspects, counts, and classifies incoming aircraft equipment and weapons repair parts; compares parts received against items shown on shipping documents or memorandums for correctness of item description markings, quantity and condition; establishes, and keeps current, identification cards for shelved or binned parts, and establishes locator card system to indicate physical location of parts in storage; employs Techniques and capabilities of automatic data processing with regard to input, filing, processing and output; determines repair part interchangeability, substitution, and application by research through catalogs, manuals, publications, parts lists, and other references; identifies parts received or turned in for direct exchange, and recommends use of interchangeable or substitute parts in event of parts shortages; employs Army maintenance system by determining categories of maintenance and capabilities, types of maintenance equipment and tool sets utilized and the characteristics of maintenance repair parts components; edits repair parts requisitions for completeness, proper item description, and stock numbers; prepares prescribed load lists and authorized stockage lists; selects parts from stock to fill requisitions and spot checks outgoing shipments to assure proper packaging, content, quantity, and markings; constructs and employs dunnage and other storage aids in the storage area; participates in location surveys and inventories; processes turn-in and direct exchange of repair parts for turn-in; operates direct exchange activities and shop stock activities; practices and promotes good safety and security procedures.
