Supervises or performs installation, operation of water purification equipment, water storage and distribution operations and activities.

Directs water reconnaissance and water point development for division, corps, and echelons above corps; manages operation and ensures quality control of water supply, storage, distribution and purification activities; perform staff and advisory duties; furnishes reports to higher headquarters; develops area water supply and treatment plan and supervises operation; perform supervisory duties shown at preceding level of skill; perform duties as petroleum quality assurance representative; assists command and staff officers in appraisals of petroleum and water operations; assist in coordination and implementation of operations, training programs, administrative matters and communication activities.

Perform supervisory duties shown at preceding level of skill; perform duties as petroleum quality assurance representative; assists command and staff officers in appraisals of petroleum and water operations; assist in coordination and implementation of operations, training programs, administrative matters and communication activities; provides advice and makes recommendations to the commander and staff on all matters pertaining to enlisted soldiers and their families; accompanies the commander on inspections, visits and ceremonies; assists in inspection of command activities, facilities and personnel as prescribed by the commander; ensures adherence to command policies; holds First Sergeants' or Sergeants' Major call to announce information and instruction; ensures that newly assigned enlisted personnel are instructed in military courtesy, customs of the service and command regulations or policies; responsible for monitoring training or conducts training of enlisted soldiers; assesses training at all levels and provides feedback to appropriate commanders and leaders; provides counsel and guidance to NCOs and other enlisted soldiers of the command; responsible for and provides guidance on Non-Commissioned Officer Education System (NCOES) and Non-Commissioned Officer Development Program (NCODP); inspects duties performed by subordinate NCOs; notes discrepancies and initiates appropriate corrective action; assists in reception of visitors to the command; serves as president or member of command promotion board or removal board for NCOs, as authorized by regulations; sits as chairperson or member of a command's Military Member of the Quarter/Year competition for enlisted soldiers or NCOs, as directed by local regulations; responsible for quality, control and training of noncommissioned officer evaluation reports while ensuring timely submissions; reviews evaluation reports to determine compliance with policies and procedures and recommends corrective actions on deficiencies to commanders, other leaders and rating officials; performs other duties prescribed by the commander; assists in the professional development of junior and company grade officers.

Assist in water reconnaissance, site preparation and setup of water treatment activities; operates and maintains water treatment equipment; receives, issues and stores potable water; performs water quality analysis testing and verification; conducts water reconnaissance; assist in site selection and setup procedures used for water operations; develops water sources and water points; supervises and trains soldiers to perform water treatment tasks; performs operator level maintenance of equipment; determines treatment method and treats water for purification; analyses and verifies test results of raw and treated water; maintains and inventories water treatment equipment and chemical supplies; responsible for preparing the water treatment reports; interpret water reconnaissance results to determine location of water sites; directs water reconnaissance and water point development; provides technical guidance to personnel; responsible for site selection and setup procedures used for water operations; supervises and trains soldiers to perform water treatment tasks; manages operator level maintenance of equipment; analyses and verifies test results of raw and treated water and records all status on selected forms; responsible for the accountability, maintenance and inventories of the water treatment equipment and chemical supplies; responsible for preparing the water treatment reports.
