Supervises or performs as enlisted aide on the personal staff of a general officer.
Must be able to perform the duties of Enlisted Aide, 00H20; supervises and coordinates activities of enlisted aides.
Must be able to perform the duties of Food Service Specialist, 94B40, or Baker MOS 94D40; supervises procurement, storage, distribution, receipt, preparation and serving of food; develops, coordinates, implements, and advises on food programs; evaluates and designs improvements to food program; prepares reports and studies on food service activities and programs; serves as member of Food Management Team; organizes and establishes centralized food service activities; selects sites and establishes supply and ration break-down points; supervises food cost control system, accounting and monetary allowance ration; supervises food service and issue commissary accounting; conducts surveys of individual preferences, food preparation methods, and food conservation; computes nutrition requirements, develops, or analyzes troop menus; inspects operation of dining and serving areas, kitchens, central pastry kitchens, bread bakeries, and food service training facilities; supervises field feeding operations and maintenance of field equipment; must be able to perform the duties of at least one MOS at skill level 5; advises commander and staff on matters pertinent to troop welfare and morale in terms of assignment, reassignment, utilization, promotion, privileges, discipline, training, operations, and logistics; accompanies commander on inspections, visits, and at ceremonies; assists in inspection of command activities, facilities, and personnel as prescribed by commander; holds First Sergeants' or Sergeants' Major call to disseminate information and instruction; insures that newly assigned enlisted personnel are instructed in military courtesy, customs of the service, and in command regulations or policies; provides counsel and guidance to noncommissioned officers and other enlisted personnel of the command; inspects duties performed by subordinate noncommissioned officers; makes notes of observed discrepancies and initiates appropriate corrective action in name of commander; assists in reception of visitors to the command; sits as member of command promotion board for senior noncommissioned officers, where authorized by pertinent regulations; performs those additional duties prescribed by the commander.
Must be able to perform the duties of Food Service Specialist (94B20); performs duties which aid a general officer in the performance of his military and official responsibilities, including social responsibilities; assists in planning, arranging, and preparation of official social functions and activities; recommends appropriate menus; estimates food consumption and requirements, and purchases foodstuffs; plans and coordinates seating arrangements; plans and prepares floral displays; sets table according to the rules of etiquette; cooks and prepares main dishes, hors d'oeuvres, fancy aspics, soups, sauces, and other foods using selected or own recipes; prepares and bakes desserts; prepares decorated foods and artistic food arrangements for buffets, luncheons, and dinners; prepares and serves meals or beverages applying rules of etiquette; assists with the care, cleanliness, order, and security of assigned quarters, furniture, and appliances; performs variety of personal services to include care, layout, and maintenance of uniforms and military personal equipment; performs as a point of contact in the officer's quarters; receives and keeps records of telephone calls, makes appointments, provides administrative assistance, and receives guests and visitors; sets up and operates general officer's field dining facility.
