Supervises and coordinates intermediate maintenance on the HAWK launcher loader, transporter, continuous wave radar, high powered illuminator radar, pulse acquisition radar, platoon command post, identification of friend or foe equipment, launching section control box, field maintenance equipment, automatic test equipment, and system associated test equipment.; supervises and coordinates initial maintenance on complex HAWK system interface circuits; supervises lower grade maintenance on complex HAWK missile system and support maintenance equipment.
Supervises and coordinates intermediate maintenance on the HAWK launcher loader, transporter, continuous wave radar, high powered illuminator radar, pulse acquisition radar, platoon command post, identification of friend or foe equipment, launching section control box, field maintenance equipment, automatic test equipment, and system associated test equipment.; supervises and coordinates init maintenance on complex HAWK system interface circuits; supervises lower grade maintenance on complex HAWK missile system and support maintenance equipment; duties involve intermediate maintenance on the following weapons systems; PERSHING; Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wire-guided missile(TOW); DRAGON; SHILLELAGH; LANCE; Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS); CHAPARRAL; REDEYE; VULCAN; HAWK; ROLAND; duties also involve intermediate maintenance on the Land Combat Support System (LCSS) and Forward Area Alerting Radar (FAAR) system; and associate test, trainer and maintenance checkout equipment; provides advice and makes, recommendations to the commander aid staff on all matters pertain to enlisted personnel and their families; accompanies the commander on inspections and visits and at ceremonies; assists in inspection of command activities facilities aid personnel as prescribed by the commander; holds First Sergeants' or Sergeants' Major call to announce information and instructions; insures that newly assigned enlisted personnel are instructed in military courtesy, customs, of the service, and command regulations or policies; provides counsel and guidance to NCOs and other enlisted personnel of the command; inspects duties performed by subordinate NCOs; notes discrepancies and initiates appropriate corrective action; assists in reception of visitors to the command; sits as president or, member of command promotion board for NCOs, as authorized by regulations; performs other duties prescribed by, the commander.
