Bradley linebacker crewmember supervises and operates the BSFV and associated equipment.
The Air Defense Artillery senior sergeant supervises, plans, coordinates, and directs the emplacement, operation, unit level maintenance and management of air defense artillery weapon systems in support of ADA units at all levels; supervises and provides technical guidance to subordinate soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties; supervise training, evaluations and certification of AD crews in AD table training crew-drills; monitors unit equipment readiness and prepares monthly readiness reports; perform inspections on maintenance records and demand supported/diagnostics repair parts stockage procedures; designs and implements the unit maintenance programs; coordinate with maintenance and logistical support activities; perform organizational planning, operations and training.
Operates and performs preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on the Bradley linebacker; operates communications equipment; visually identifies threat and friendly aircraft and armored vehicles; operates turret; operates Bradley linebacker weapon systems; performs loading, unloading, PMCS and corrective actions on the Bradley linebacker weapon systems; performs PMCS on communications equipment; NBC system, and turret; supervises subordinate soldiers and provides technical guidance in the accomplishment of their duties; performs gunner duties during target engagements; assists squad leader in crew training; supervises and assists crewmembers with PMCS and loading and unloading all weapon systems; prepares range card; collects and consolidates intelligence information; supervises subordinate soldiers and provides technical guidance to the soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties; commands the Bradley linebacker; selects targets; determines weapon employment; issues fire commands for all weapons; selects routes of movement and vehicle positions; selects MANPADS firing positions; trains complete crew; coordinates and supervises PMCS; process special and periodic reports.
