Performs operational tests and makes external adjustments on equipment; uses schematic and wiring/circuitry diagrams; troubleshoots and repairs; analyzes, tracks, records and reports data.
E7-E9; Able to perform the duties required for E4-E6; Able to perform the duties required for STS1; supervises maintenance and repair of sonar equipment; repairs and calibrates electronic test equipment; trains and supervises personnel in the operation of sonar systems.
