Supervises or performs unit maintenance on HAWK firing section equipment.
Supervises and coordinates organizational maintenance of HAWK firing section equipment; serves as chief HAWK firing section mechanic at battalion or higher level to assist in supervision and coordination of from contain maintenance activities in subordinate units; performs duties shown in preceding level of skill and supervises unit maintenance of HAWK firing section equipment; must be able to perform duties of MOSC 24C40 or 24R40.
Performs unit maintenance on HAWK high powered illuminator radar, missile launching section control box, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of the launcher, loader-transporter, and associated equipment; performs duties shown in preceding level of skill and provides technical guidance to lower grade personnel; supervises duties performed in preceding levels of skill.
Serves as maintenance chief in unit at battalion or higher level; serves as first sergeant of a company; performs duties associated with SQI M; serves as chief instructor in a training facility, chief advisor to a Reserve Component unit, or chief advisor to a foreign military unit; provides advice and makes, recommendations to the commander aid staff on all matters pertain to enlisted personnel and their families; accompanies the commander on inspections and visits and at ceremonies; assists in inspection of command activities facilities aid personnel as prescribed by the commander; holds First Sergeants' or Sergeants' Major call to announce information and instructions; insures that newly assigned enlisted personnel are instructed in military courtesy, customs, of the service, and command regulations or policies; provides counsel and guidance to NCOs and other enlisted personnel of the command; inspects duties performed by subordinate NCOs; notes discrepancies and initiates appropriate corrective action; assists in reception of visitors to the command; sits as president or, member of command promotion board for NCOs, as authorized by regulations; performs other duties prescribed by, the commander.
