Job Detail

Performs or supervises units and intermediate maintenance on HAWK field maintenance equipment and automatic test equipment.

Supervises and coordinates intermediate maintenance on the HAWK launcher loader, transporter, continuous wave radar, high powered illuminator radar, pulse acquisition radar, platoon command post, identification of friend or foe equipment, launching section control box, field maintenance equipment, automatic test equipment, and system associated test equipment; supervises and coordinates init maintenance on complex HAWK system interface circuits; supervises lower grade maintenance on complex HAWK missile system and support maintenance equipment; provides advice and makes, recommendations to the commander aid staff on all matters pertain to enlisted personnel and their families; accompanies the commander on inspections and visits and at ceremonies; assists in inspection of command activities facilities aid personnel as prescribed by the commander; holds First Sergeants' or Sergeants' Major call to announce information and instructions; insures that newly assigned enlisted personnel are instructed in military courtesy, customs, of the service, and command regulations or policies; provides counsel and guidance to NCOs and other enlisted personnel of the command; inspects duties performed by subordinate NCOs; notes discrepancies and initiates appropriate corrective action; assists in reception of visitors to the command; sits as president or, member of command promotion board for NCOs, as authorized by regulations; performs other duties prescribed by, the commander.

Performs intermediate maintenance on the electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems of the pulse acquisition radar and identification friend or foe equipment; operates and performs unit and intermediate maintenance on field maintenance equipment, automatic test equipment and system associated test equipment employed maintenance of the HAWK system; provides technical guidance to lower grade personnel; supervises lower grade personnel during technical assistance visits to supported units as contact team chief; provides technical instructions to lower grade personnel and performs troubleshooting on complex system interface circuits.

Supervises and performs duties shown in the preceding levels of skills; establishes workloads and repair priorities; performs supervisory duties as section chief; supervises and coordinates intermediate maintenance on the HAWK launcher loader, transporter, continuous wave radar, high powered illuminator radar, pulse acquisition radar, platoon command post, identification of friend or foe equipment, launching section control box, field maintenance equipment, automatic test equipment, and system associated test equipment; supervises and coordinates initial maintenance on complex HAWK system interface circuits; supervises lower grade maintenance on complex HAWK missile system and support maintenance equipment.
