Processes and distributes toxic warfare intelligence reports; assists in staff preparation and analysis of records, reports, maps, sketches, and overlays related to toxic warfare training and staff operations; observes and corrects teaching techniques and procedures of toxic warfare instructors in subordinate units; demonstrates new methods and techniques for operation and maintenance of chemical equipment; assists in the preparation of reports, chemical supply and maintenance records, and unit and individual training records; calculates effects of weather on chemical supplies, equipment, and operations; assists in staff analysis of chemical target vulnerability; assists in predicting enemy casualties; assists in planning offensive and defensive chemical, smoke, flame, radiological, biological-defense, and decontamination operations; identifies physiological and field behavioral effects of chemical agents; instructs classes in first aid measures to counteract effects of chemical agents; detects and identifies chemical agents and munitions; assists in evaluation and coordination of weapon systems for chemical employment; computes chemical munitions requirements for special operations; predicts effects of temperature gradient on chemical operations; calculates and advises ground surface condition effect on chemical agents; assists in preparation and evaluation of NBC reports; prepares simplified fallout prediction plots; computes dosimeter correction factors; assists in computation of radiation factors effecting personnel, equipment and operations.
