Maritime combatant-craft experts. SBs are organized, trained and equipped to conduct Joint, Combined and interagency Special Boat Operations in support of U.S. Special Operations Command, and Geographic Combatant Commanders.
E4-E6; Able to perform the duties of E1-E3;
E7-E9; Able to perform the duties of E4-E6; Provides operational and administrative leadership and management to include daily management of mission requirements and personnel, mission planning, and acquisition of support assets; responsible for training.
Assumes responsibility for, and is an expert in at least one department to include communications and electronics, transportation and logistics, ordnance, engineering, tactical medicine, mobility, intelligence.
